My Paintings
I LOVE COLOR!
I have colored all my life and have hundreds of coloring books...but I never colored in them. Not wanting to mess up the bold line drawing pictures, I would trace or draw the picture and color that instead. Loving colors whether it be crayons, challs, dyes or paints, I want to use as many of them in each of my paintings. I like to take simple everyday recognizable objects and blow them up on a large scale going off the canvas which gives an abstract appearance. Highlighting the primary contour lines in black gives my paintings a wall paper feel and an animated look which makes the many colors pop! Still coloring after all these years... The difference now is I am creating my own coloring book pages! Enjoy!
